
KANYAMAZANE, 19 July 2026 – TS Galaxy are the 2026 Mpumalanga Premier’s Cup champions after an impressive 3–1 victory over Kruger United FC in the finals at Kanyamazane Stadium.
The trophy was presented by Mpumalanga Premier Mandla Ndlovu, joined by MEC for Culture, Sport and Recreation Leah Mabuza, MEC for Education Lindi Masina, Executive Mayors, SAFA leadership and other dignitaries.
Hosted across Kabokweni Stadium, Lowveld High School and Kanyamazane Stadium, the tournament brought together football and netball teams from across the province, celebrating local talent, sportsmanship and community spirit.

The Mpumalanga Premier’s Cup aims to promote sport development, identify and nurture local talent, encourage healthy lifestyles and unite communities through competitive football and netball. The tournament also provides a platform for athletes to showcase their skills while inspiring the next generation of sports stars across the province.
The competition offered exciting rewards, including a brand-new combi, cash prizes, medals and trophies. The runners-up received R200 000, while the third-placed teams took home R50 000.
The Premier’s Cup showcased some of Mpumalanga’s finest football talent, with TS Galaxy, Kruger United, Casric Stars and The Bees battling for provincial glory.

In his closing remarks, Premier Mandla Ndlovu commended every team, player, coach, match official and supporter for helping make the 2026 Mpumalanga Premier’s Cup a memorable celebration of sport, talent and unity across the province.
